American indie pop trio Foster The People best known for their hit single 'Pumped Up Kicks' will be making their way to KL for a full concert at the KL Convention Centre on 13 January 2012. The band went on to commercial grounds as their debut album 'Torches' peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. Other singles include 'Helena Beat' and 'Call It What You Want'.
Foster The People, aka Mark Foster (vocals, keyboards, piano, synthesizers, guitar, programming, percussion), Mark Pontius (drums and extra percussion), and Cubbie Fink (bass and backing vocals) shot to fame almost accidentally this year with their song Pumped Up Kicks. From small beginnings posting the track to a few friends, it’s now reached tens of millions of hits on YouTube and has held consecutive placement in music charts, DJs’ sets, and hipsters’ playlists the world over.
